The Wooster R017-4 Sherlock roller frame is a professional-grade paint applicator designed for 4-inch paint rollers. Whether you're refreshing a single room or completing a large commercial project, this roller frame combines durability with efficiency to help you achieve smooth, streak-free results. The quick-release mechanism and smooth-rolling bearings work together to eliminate common painting frustrations like shank wear, gray streaks, and time-consuming roller changes.

This roller frame solves the problems that slow down painting work: it prevents roller slippage while allowing easy one-rap removal for fast roller swaps, reduces shank wear that can mar your finish, and provides a comfortable grip for extended use. The 90-degree chrome-plated shank gives you control and maneuverability, while the reinforced-thread polypropylene handle keeps your roller securely attached under pressure.

Features and Benefits

  • Quick-Release Spring: Securely locks the roller in place yet allows for easy, one-rap removal, streamlining your painting workflow.
  • Smooth-Rolling Internal Bearings: Eliminates shank wear and prevents gray streaks, ensuring a clean, professional finish every time.
  • Durable Construction: Green fiberglass-reinforced nylon cage and endcaps withstand frequent use and harsh conditions.
  • Chrome-Plated Shank: The 5/16-inch shank is angled at 90 degrees for easy maneuverability and precise control.
  • Reinforced-Thread Grip: Full-size polypropylene handle with reinforced threads provides a comfortable, secure hold during extended painting sessions.
  • Extension Pole Compatible: Works with Wooster Sherlock GT extension poles to reach high or difficult areas.
